The story and prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success are inseparable from the person of the Venerable Mother Mariana of Jesus Torres (1563-1635), a Conceptionist religious in Quito, Ecuador.
Our Lady asked her to become an expiatory victim for the heresies, blasphemies, and impiety that would be unleashed on the Church in the 20th century. She agreed, thus linking herself to our times in a special way.
Her extraordinary life and revelations she received were written in 1790 by Rev. Fr. Pereira, a Franciscan priest she converted 150 years after her death. This is volume I of his work, presented in the first time in English.
The devotion to Our Lady of Good Success has been approved by the Bishops of Quito since 1611.
